See here for Final Report: RM of Lac du Bonnet Accessibility Survey Final Report

The Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet has launched an Accessibility Survey and is seeking responses from residents and visitors.

The RM of Lac du Bonnet is committed to ensuring equal access and participation for people living with disabilities. We are committed to the principle of inclusion and meeting the needs of those who face accessibility barriers. This is achieved by identifying, removing, and preventing barriers, maintaining our Accessibility Plan, and meeting the requirements of The Accessibility for Manitobans Act (AMA).

The RM is a “Four Seasons Playground” for many full-time residents, seasonal residents, and visitors. The RM strives to be a welcoming place and have meaningful opportunities for persons of all ages and abilities.

To make the RM’s facilities, offices, programs, and services more accessible — and to ensure our Accessibility Plan meets our residents’ and visitors’ diverse needs and priorities — we need input from community members and visitors.

The RM kindly asks residents and visitors to take a few minutes to complete the online Accessibility Survey, which can be found at the link below.

The information gathered from this survey will provide us with insights into the gaps and barriers that still exist and will play an important part in our Accessibility Plan update.

The survey is available in alternative format upon request. Please call 204-345-2619 or email rmldb@lacdubonnet.com if you require one.

The survey closes on December 1, 2023.
