The RM of Lac du Bonnet is working closely with the After School Curling Club to bring a fun family event - inclusive to all! No matter your prior skill level.
Date: March 1st, 2025
Time: 8:00am to 7:00pm
Cost: $100.00/team (includes pizza lunch for all registered players).
Location: Lac du Bonnet Curling Club, 25 McArthur Avenue, Lac du Bonnet.
Each team will have three games with four on each end. Each team must consist of four players, at least one must be under the age of 18, although 2 players under that age would be ideal.
Some curling supplies will be available to borrow, although supplies are limited and it will be on a first come - first serve basis. It is preferred that you bring your own, but it is not necessary if you do not have.
The bar will be open throughout the event for purchase of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, snacks and pizza.
SPECTATORS AND INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION IS WELCOME!

Course Content
- Importance of responsibility and respect while being accountable for yourself
- Importance of setting and following rules around safety when staying on your own
- How to stay safe at home and within the community
- How to prepare, recognize and respond to unexpected situations, (i.e. inclement weather, strangers, unanticipated visits)
- First Aid Content:
- Check, Call, Care (includes phoning EMS/911), recovery position, conscious choking (adult/child/alone), feeling unwell, asthma (includes use of inhaler and spacer), anaphylaxis (includes use of EpiPen), poisoning, insect stings, wound care (i.e. minor cuts and scrapes, splinters, nosebleeds, bumps and bruises, life-threatening bleeding, burns)
You know him, you love him and you love his art even more! Colter is back for his third class; teaching us techniques and skills to grow our artistic talents! You do not have to carry any prior skill or attendance to join this class. All are welcome! Please register online!
Basic one-day course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Meets OHS regulations for Basic First Aid. Exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED). Pre-registration is required and can be done online.
