The Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet conducted a survey about short-term rental/Airbnb properties and their impacts — positive or negative — on nearby residents and the larger community.
The RM sought opinions on these types of properties, whether they should be regulated by a By-Law, and if a By-Law were to be established, what regulations said By-Law should contain.
The survey was open to all RM residents, full time and seasonal and was open from May 31, 2022 and June 24, 2022.
We appreciate the more than 600 residents who took time to fill out the survey and give their feedback on how the RM can best interact with this expanding industry.
